Agent: All About Turf
Location: Oxley, QLD, Australia

All About Turf had the pleasure of working Oxley Golf Club once again on their new mini golf course which was completed in Dec 2021. All About Turf worked closely with designer Dave Pelz – a legend of the golf industry, to build one of the largest mini golf courses in Australia. The 3200sqm mini golf course replaced the 9th hole of the existing Oxley golf course. It includes 18 holes plus a further 9-hole practice putting green and full disability access.

All About Turf used Olympia Coolplus for the putting surface, XL Tee for the tee off area and SynLawn Comfort for the surrounds. The 6-month project was relatively smooth-sailing apart from having to adjust the design slightly after encountering some unexpected unused services underground.

The impressive mini-golf course features surround-sound speakers and lighting for evening play. It recently hosted the Australian Mini Golf Championships.

Location: Hangzhou, China

The Hangzhou Asian Games Hockey pitch was built to host the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games from 10-25 September 2022.

Held every four years, the Asian Games are one of the most high-profile events in Asia and worldwide. With the spotlight firmly on Asia, the Asian Games follow on from the hugely successful Beijing Winter Olympics. Beijing Ruiji Side Construction Company installed almost 13,000sqm of FIH-certified Poligras Tokyo GT for the hockey competition at Gongshu Canal Sports Park. The impressive stadium can seat up to 6,000 spectators.

Following the completion of the Asian Games the hockey pitch will be available for public use, which will hopefully encourage increased interest and participation in hockey.

Location: Hampton Park, VIC, Australia

Coral Park Primary School selected Grassports to do the resurfacing project of their netball and basketball courts.

Minor base works were required before before laying Supergrasse Court Turf PE. The design of the courts was well-considered with a clever idea of creating a space at the ends of each court for students to practise their shooting whilst not interrupting play on the courts.

The courts were complemented with customised school values integrated into the edging and bespoke basketball/netball towers.

Agent: Shanghai Yikang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd
Location: Shanghai, China

Shanghai Yikang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd helped to create a jaw-dropping sports and play area for the students at Yew Chung International School (YCIS) in Shanghai.

This project consisted of a sports field and play zones. The sports field was a LigaGrass Pro CP 250 artificial turf system with soccer line markings.
For one play zone a PolyPlay FS Nature artificial turf system was installed over mounds to create the look of a beautiful hillside landscape. In the other play zone a PolyPlay S15 soft-fall system was installed using a range of bright colours and a fun design.

The students at YCIS Shanghai are now enjoying a variety of physical activities outside of the classroom in their amazing new sport and play space.

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

Teamturf was engaged to design and install landscaping turf for a luxury residential backyard in Auckland, NZ. The customer was very particular and had incredibly high expectations, so quality design, products and craftsmanship were critical to the project’s success.

The brief was to create a showcase area within their high-end property to double as a photoshoot location for their very successful fashion label. Teamturf chose the lush Esplanade 40 which was used for a total 210sqm of large grassy areas and in between intricate stone pavers.

No doubt there will be plenty of entertaining and designer photoshoots in this swoon-worthy backyard.
